Our Mission
The American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics strives to disseminate new and advanced information on the latest techniques in pediatric foot and ankle care. This is done through our participation in seminars, lectures, publications and digital media.
We dispense information to the public at large on the proper care of their child’s feet and also promote commitment to, and excellence in, the medical and surgical management of pediatric foot and ankle pathologies.
Pediatrics at World Congress a Huge Success!
The American College of Foot & Ankle Pediatrics (ACFAP) recently participated at the World Congress of Podiatry meeting in Montreal, Canada, May 26-28. This world-class event, which occurs once every 3 years, features the largest gathering of international podiatrists in the world. President of ACFAP, Dr. Louis J. DeCaro, presented a 90 minute lecture on the H&P of the pediatric patient. “Representing ACFAP and pediatric foot and ankle care on a world stage, in front of a “standing room only” crowd, was quite an honor.” The World Congress of Podiatry and ACFAP share similar missions: providing for the advancement and continuing education of Podiatric medical professionals.
